Don't forget about our fun game: http://www.expectnet.com/games/Tweedlebug Come take a guess at TweedleBug's stats!
Today our doctor appointment went well - very low key. Dr. Huff still wants me to gain weight, but she is happy with the 5 lbs that I have gained in the last month with everything going on. Other than that we talked to her about some of the classes that are available for us to take, and how she wants me to try to keep my stress levels down. We made the rest of our doctor appointments through the end of November. That is a bit intimidating...
Other than that, things are going well in the D-Land...

Wow, quiet a bit of time has passed since I updated here very well. Things in life are still trucking along.
So, let's see about a proper update. TB is very active. I think we have a night owl on our hands because she seems to come alive around 9 and doesn't stop until I don't know when. Last night she was still moving like crazy when I finally fell asleep at midnight, and was moving around when I got up to go to the bathroom at 4. That really makes it hard to go back to sleep with a little one stretching in your tummy. We do know that TB likes music - really any kind of music, but I noticed her "dancing" to Kanye West the other morning. I had to let Brian know because his choice of music is definitely country. I think Baby Girl is a bit shy, she definitely knows when someone is around me she doesn't "know" because she will get very still and it seems that she is "listening". I think most of all she loves Wriglee. When he lays down across my lap she seems to come alive and wants him to know she is there. Wriglee is already becoming protective of her, do I hope that friendship lasts for years to come! I am not going to post the generic week update since I have missed the last couple of weeks, but if you want to know what is going on in my tummy feel free to google "23 Weeks Pregnant".
It seems like it has been forever since I have been to the doctor, so we have a lot of questions for Dr. Huff when we go in next week. I am not going to say the nausea has left completely but it has subsided a lot. I am so grateful I don't have to take all the meds I was taking a few weeks ago, but I still have to take a pill on occasion. I still graze quiet a bit during the day and try to eat a good dinner. I am really hoping I don't have to meet with a nutritionist next week, but there is no telling. I have gained some more weight, but I don't think it is over about 5 pounds. I just don't know what else I can eat, or when. I do look pregnant now, but can still wear a lot of my non-maternity clothes. That has been very nice - my shorts have lasted most of the summer, and I am guessing I could probably still wear my Lucky jeans if I wanted to. I really don't have the other pregnancy yuckies like so many people talk about. I try to walk around often at work, and keep my feet propped up so I am sure that helps. It is pretty funny to be around all the guys at work because they are so "careful" around me, but they all want to know how things are going, or how much longer or what TB's name is going to be, but still maintain their cool-ness.
So what else comes along with a baby...
Nursery - I have already posted we have TweedleBug's armoire and it is filling up very quickly with blankets, shoes, socks, animals, and pink clothes. Our crib has come in, but we haven't picked it up yet (we still have some things we need to accomplish in our house before we move a crib in). On Saturday Brian and I ordered our glider and that felt like a big accomplishment. We were able to find something comfortable for both of us that will be useful in our household for years to come. Last but not least we have decided on TB's bedding. We got the fabric samples in the mail and were able to decide very quickly what we wanted to do. I will call and order everything this week. After that I think the only thing we will need (other than the cute-sy stuff to complete the nursery) will be some sort of storage unit/bookcase. (If you have suggestions please pass them along.)
Registry - Brian and I have been looking and trying to decide what we want. Assuming this weekend goes as planned we will go register at Babies 'R Us. I don't think they have everything we want, but that will at least give us a starting point. From there, I promise to post what else we decide to do, or where else we plan to register. I promise it will be done in plenty of time for our shower.
I think that sums almost everything up going on with us! I will do my best to update more often...
